Privacy
Nectar Edge Inc. (“Nectar”, “we”, “us”) keeps this simple. This policy explains what personal data we handle as a company, why, and the choices you have.
Scope.
This policy covers personal data we handle as a company — people who visit this website, contact us, or run a validation with us.
It does not cover the data your fleet processes on a Nectar Box. Your workload data — payloads, prompts, logs — stays on your network and never reaches us. That data is governed by your service agreement, not this policy.
What we collect.
Through our forms — the 1-week validation form (name, work email, company, fleet size, whether you run Kubernetes, and any notes) and the contact form (name, email, message). We only get what you choose to send.
When you load this site, our hosting provider records standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps — for security and reliability. We use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand traffic. We do not build advertising profiles or track you across other sites.
How we use it.
We use this information only to:
- respond to your message and coordinate a validation or conversation;
- keep the site secure, available, and working;
- meet legal, accounting, and security obligations.
Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are: your consent; our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site; and pre-contract steps taken at your request. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
International transfers.
Nectar is a US company. If you contact us from outside the US, your information will be processed in the US and other countries where our providers operate. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it.
We keep form submissions only as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterward, then delete them — typically [retention period] — to confirm. Server logs are retained briefly for security and then rotated out.
How we protect it.
We protect your information with access controls, encryption in transit, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and limit who can reach it.
Your rights.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your data; to object to or restrict how we use it; and to withdraw consent at any time.
You have the right to know, delete, and correct the personal information we hold, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share your information, so there is nothing to opt out of. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.
You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these, use the contact form or email privacy@nectar.io — to confirm. We'll verify your request and respond within the time the law allows.
Children.
This site isn't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Other sites.
This site may link to others — investors, partners, or documentation. We're not responsible for their privacy practices; please read their policies before sharing information with them.
Changes.
We'll update this page if our practices change and revise the date above. We'll note material changes here so you can see what changed.
